Which posts clear the €6,000 line

How to reach these grades

There are two realistic routes to a €6,000-plus EU post. The classic path is an EPSO open competition for administrators leading to an AD5 reserve list, open to any graduate with a degree and two EU languages; no prior experience is needed for AD5. The faster, more specialist route is direct Temporary Agent selection at an agency, where posts are often advertised at AD7 and above and the recruiting body runs its own procedure rather than a general competition. Experienced candidates can enter straight at AD7 with the required years of experience. Both routes lead onto the same grid, with automatic step increases and merit-based promotion under Article 45.
