What is EU Jobs?
EU Jobs is an independent job aggregator that collects and organizes career opportunities from official European Union institution portals. We make it easier to discover positions at the European Commission, European Parliament, and over 90 EU agencies and bodies.
Our platform currently tracks 143 open positions across 29 EU institutions in 38 locations throughout Europe.
Data Sources & Methodology
All job listings on EU Jobs are sourced directly from the official EU Careers portal (EPSO) and individual EU agency websites. We do not create or modify job content—we aggregate and organize existing public information to improve discoverability.
How We Collect Data
- Automated Collection: Our system scans official EU career portals daily for new job postings
- Data Normalization: We standardize job information (grades, locations, institutions) for consistent filtering
- Enrichment: We add salary band estimates based on official EU Staff Regulations pay scales
- Verification: All listings link directly to official application pages—we never handle applications
Update Frequency

Salary Information
Salary estimates shown on EU Jobs are based on the official EU Staff Regulations pay scales. These are indicative ranges and actual compensation may vary based on:
- Step within grade (experience-based progression)
- Country correction coefficient (cost of living adjustment)
- Family allowances and other benefits
- Contract type (officials vs. temporary vs. contract agents)
Source: Annex I to the Staff Regulations, as updated annually by the European Commission.

Why We Built EU Jobs
Finding EU job opportunities can be challenging. Official portals contain valuable listings but can be difficult to navigate, especially when searching across multiple institutions or filtering by specific criteria.
EU Jobs addresses this by providing:
- Unified Search: All EU institutions in one place
- Smart Filters: Filter by location, grade, domain, contract type, and salary
- Salary Transparency: Estimated salary ranges based on official pay scales
- Deadline Tracking: Never miss an application deadline
- Clean Interface: Mobile-friendly, fast, and accessible
EU Jobs Alert vs. Official EU Careers Portal
EU Jobs Alert is designed to complement — not replace — the official EU Careers portal. Here's how the two compare:
| EU Jobs Alert | EU Careers (EPSO) | |
|---|---|---|
| Coverage | Aggregates from EU Careers + individual agency career pages | Official source for EPSO competitions and institution vacancies |
| Search | Unified cross-institution search with salary, grade, and location filters | Per-institution search with official classification filters |
| Applications | Links directly to official application pages — we never handle applications | Applications submitted directly through official portals |
| Extras | Salary estimates, email alerts, grade guides | Official competition calendars, candidate accounts, EPSO test resources |
For the best results, we recommend using both: EU Jobs Alert for discovery and filtering, and the official EU Careers portal for applications and competition details.
