2. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you may cancel your account before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use EU Jobs Alert. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Accounts
You may create an account using your email address (magic link) or Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must provide a valid email address and must not create accounts for fraudulent or abusive purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for automated scraping, spamming, or any activity that degrades the service for others. We will provide at least 14 days' notice before terminating an account, except where we are legally required to act immediately or where the account poses an imminent risk to the service or other users. For paid subscribers whose accounts are terminated by us, any prepaid subscription fees for the remaining period will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. You may appeal a suspension by contacting us at [email protected].
5. Free and Premium Services
EU Jobs Alert offers a free tier and paid premium subscriptions. The free tier provides access to job listings with certain limitations (delayed listings, truncated information, advertisements). Premium removes these limitations.
- Premium Monthly: EUR 2.99 per month, recurring until cancelled.
- Premium Annual: EUR 19.99 per year, recurring until cancelled.
Free Trial: New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of Premium. During the trial, you have full access to Premium features. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. Each person is entitled to one free trial; we may decline trial requests from accounts we reasonably believe have previously used a trial. The trial period cannot be paused or extended.
Prices are in euros and include applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription before the new price takes effect, and you will not be charged the new rate.
6. Payments, Billing, and Cancellation
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to your payment method.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page or via the Stripe Customer Portal. You will receive a confirmation email upon cancellation. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to Premium features until then.
Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
If you are a consumer in the European Economic Area, you have the right to withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason.
By subscribing and accessing Premium features immediately, you expressly consent to the performance of the service beginning before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period. You acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided during the withdrawal period. If you withdraw before the service has been fully provided, you may be charged a proportionate amount for the service already delivered.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at [email protected] with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
After the 14-day withdrawal period, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and no further refunds are provided.
No Partial Refunds
When you cancel a subscription, you retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. No partial or prorated refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period, whether for monthly or annual plans. This applies to both voluntary cancellations and trial-to-paid conversions.
