Your profile:
- Experience in the installation, test, troubleshooting of electrical and/or electronic circuits and devices. - Experience with instrumentation (setting up measurement devices such as oscilloscopes, measurement probes, function generators, etc). - Experience of PCB production and tests. - Basic experience with set up DAQ systems and electrical/electronic signals data analysis. - Experience with test stations validating the performance of control electronic and electrical production would be an advantage.
Skills:
- Knowledge of electrical and/or electronic circuits, debugging and measurement techniques. - Basic knowledge of Electromechanical devices and maintenance. - Ability to write test reports and documentation. - Knowledge of using mechanical tooling during the installation of the equipment would be an asset. - Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the basics of the other language.
Eligibility criteria:
- You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State. - By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree. - You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before. - Applicants without University degree are not eligible. - Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.
